Starboard Storage Systems Launches Ship at VMware Partner Exchange

Starboard Storage Systems , a WaldenTech client, came out of stealth mode to formally launch the company and their solution, the Starboard AC72 at VMware Partner Exchange in Las Vegas on February 13, 2012. The innovative storage solutions company is lead by industry veterans Bill Chambers as Chairman, Victor Walker as CEO, and Karl Chen as CMO, Kirill Malkin as CTO,  Lee Johns as VP of Product Management, and John Potochnik as VP of Engineering.  At the time of the launch, the company, which is based in Broomfield, Colorado, had already installed systems in 30 customers sites totaling 750TBs of storage.

Solarwinds Acquires Assets of Walden Client, Tek-Tools

SolarWinds, a Texas-based supplier of network monitoring tools, announced that it has acquired the assets of Tek-Tools, Inc. , a Dallas-based developer of enterprise monitoring, reporting, and management tools, for $42 million.  Prior to the acquisition Walden Technology Partners, Inc., played a strategic role in helping Tek-Tools secure an OEM-contract with a leading supplier of storage solutions, a reseller agreement with the services arm of a global systems company, and a reseller agreement with a major North American systems reseller.
